The celebration features a fun filled day for all ages, astonishing cultural performances by noted and popular artists from Pakistan, ethnic Pakistani cuisine, handicrafts, boutiques, sports, kite flying and children entertainment. The festival is open to public, a free event with no admission fee or parking charges.
Silver Jubilee celebrations start with single/double wicket cricket tournament in the morning at 9 am in the adjacent ground to Special Events Center that will continue until 1:00 pm. 100, 200 and 400 meter races are also scheduled for children in the age groups of 5-9 years, 10-12 years and 13-16 years. All participants will get a gift in addition to special awards to First, Second and Third positions. Contact us to register for all sports.
Carnival games, Lot of Rides including pony and train, Moon Bounce (separate for girls & boys), Acrobats, Magician, Clown, cultural performances and free gifts to every child coming to the festival before 2 pm are salient features of the event. Raffle draw of airline tickets and other give a ways are also planned. Arrangements to offer Salat-e-Dhur, ASR and MAGHRIB in congregation are being made.
Formal program starts with recitation of Holy Quran. Presentation of colors by a contingent of U.S. Army Color Guard. National Anthem of Pakistan and USA, Messages and Proclamations will be presented. Astonishing and spectacular cultural performances by popular artists, Musical Bands will continue until dark.
Popular Singer from Pakistan Ali Haider, Humaira Channa, Fawad Ahmad, are among the invited artists. Participation of artists solely depends on U.S. visa and the list may be amended as per the circumstances. Names may be added or deleted later subject to the availability of U.S. Visa and funding, keep on visiting the web site for updates.
The program will end at dark with national song Jeevay Jeevay Pakistan presented by all the artists present and fireworks.
